Hydrotherapy Swimming for Dogs
We have a purpose built heated spa swimming pool that has been specially designed for dogs who are in need of hydrotherapy. The pool is heated to around 30 degrees Celsius , has triple filtration and is chlorinated for hygiene.
The natural buoyancy and support water provides makes swimming an excellent form of exercise and physiotherapy as it reduces the stress and wear on joints and limbs, and generally strengthens the body. Warm water increases blood flow and improves circulation which can help reduce swelling, pain and stiffness thus aiding the healing of an injured area.

As a safe and controlled environment our facility is also ideal for teaching young dogs to swim! Flotation jackets are provided to give support and confidence to your dog while they are in the water.
Swimming can be an intensive form of exercise so we keep our hydrotherapy sessions to half an hour long and we work with your dog allowing them to go at their own pace.
